Saturday, December 20, 10 AM: Friends of Clark Park Work Day at 43rd Street and Chester Avenue
Come and prepare Clark Park for its Winter hibernation! We will be removing the green water gaiters from around the newer trees, cleaning them, and packing them away for the season. Many hands make light work!

Sunday, December 21, 5 PM: Caroling in Clark Park at 45th Street and Chester Avenue
Celebrate the Winter Solstice and the holiday season in Clark Park! The community Christmas tree will be lit and University City's fabulous open-air caroling tradition will follow. FoCP will provide light refreshments.

A large and jovial throng of neighbors always turns out for this jolly event. If you're lucky, toward the end, you just might hear some brave souls slinging their lungs around the "Hallelujah" chorus from Handel's Messiah!

(For the most part, though, it's our neighbors singing familiar seasonal carols for the fun of it.)

Come one, come all!
